Why Do We Call Everything 'Interesting'?

What scales of judgment are used when considering global vastness?

To deem something "interesting" is to promise to return to it. It's a judgment that doesn't really say anything, beyond forestalling that judgment, like a "sticky note" amid an endless wash of data.
