"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. Because it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it."

mind happiness
Our brain and body, by design, can deceive us into thinking we need something we do not want, or avoiding something in our best interest to do.
A wise use of energy to chart our direction is to realize all we can be as individuals, and holding that vision in the moment. This is infinitely more powerful than hashing over details.
Our mind is a complex structure that can be our very best friend or worst enemy, when it comes to happiness.
Success is the ability to ride any disappointment like a wave and learn to enjoy the ocean.
We have to prepare for any journey that prepares us to succeed any destination. When we discover miracle-making power we have to shape the experience of our life.
We feel joy, love, and trust will be our constant companions.
This allows us to rule our world and to be one with the world.

the sunny side of social
I read a story recently about social proof. Social proof is measured by the number of "likes" ans "shares" on Social Media platforms. The more the better. I don't disagree with this. I, in fact, agree. We all seem to want the post or video or whatever else to go "viral". All of us want our social moment in the sun.
If you feel "left out" on hits, clicks, shares and likes, don't get frustrated and disappointed. I feel oftentimes that the traffic on my posts are stagnant. That, however doesn't stop or keep me from posting, researching, and writing. I, for one, enjoy the Social Media space. Many of us do and think of having an audience. Most of that audience comes from platforms like Facebook and Twitter. That's good. That's a start. Be thankful you have an audience. It might not be quantity, so think quality.
Here's a story I picked up that goes along with what I am getting across.
Keep concentrating and focusing on your Social Media presence. Discover the sunny side of social. You might just be surprised who is in the audience.

Long ago, a band of minstrels lived in a faraway land. They traveled from town to town singing and playing their music in hopes of making a living. They had not been doing well financially, however. Times were hard and the common people had little money to spend on concerts, even though their fee was small.
The group met one evening to discuss their plight. "I see no reason for opening tonight, " one said. It's snowing and no one will come out on a night like this." Another said, "I agree. Last night we performed for just a handful. Even fewer will come tonight."
The leader of the troupe responded, "I know you are discouraged. I am too. But we have a responsibility to those who might come. We will go on. It is not the fault of those who come that others do not."
Heartened by his words, the minstrels gave their best performance ever. After the show, the old man called his troupe to him again. In his hand was a note, handed to him by a member of the audience just before the door closed. Slowly the man read, "Thank you for a beautiful performance." It was signed simply, "Your King."

connections rewire
We have the ability to breakout of the negative feedback loop.
Unlocking the durable power of positive thinking can rewire ourselves to think positively. The brain can rewire its own connections and has the ability to change structurally. When we learn something, we change neural connections. Every time we reactivate a circuit, a synaptic efficiency increases, and connections become more durable and easier to reactivate. Whenever we do specific tasks over and over again, it takes less brain power over time.
We can harness the brain's plasticity by training our brain to make positive patterns more automatic. Practice the positive aspects of life. That keeps the negative tendencies away. We can retrain the brain to scan for the good things in life. A positive thinking pattern has a powerful impact. This could be difficult and awkward feeling at the beginning, but the rewards will be worth the effort.

We have to build habit that becomes more automatic and longer lasting.
Here are three top ways to rewire ourselves for positivity:
- Scan for 3 daily positives. Reflect on what caused them to happen. Celebrate small wins.
- Give one shout-out to someone (daily).
- Do something nice. This has power to get us out of the negativity loop.

creativity boost
When you meet someone do you ask yourself if they are creative? I'm starting to. I asked myself if I am creative. My answer was, "Not enough." Creativity is a skill that has to be honed. It can be too. This just takes practice and careful thought.
There are practical ways to develop creative aspects within your life. Creativity takes exercise. Here are some exercise tips:

- Draw or doodle daily. This doesn't take much time or space. Materials are easy: pencil and paper. You "get" the picture.
- Read. This needs to happen daily too.
- Capture your ideas. Capture them in your mind. We all have heard that writing then down is important. I feel that keeping them in our minds is much, much more important.
- Take a walk. If the weather is not to your liking, take a mental walk instead.
- Change your routines. This means mixing up your daily rituals. Try it.
- Increase your curiosity. Wonder about what the Mars rover is doing? Find out. Google search is a good place to start.

your biggest fan
Do you have a biggest fan? How we see ourselves is how others will see us. With this in mind, let's proceed to the next level.
Do you have enemies? Think this. Maybe there is no such thing as enemies. No one's vying for our demise, so much as their own ascension. Maybe having opposition is our desperate explanation for why we face conflict we don't understand. Maybe our self-consciousness is behind why we feel judged by others.
Maybe becoming our own biggest fan will destroy whatever we perceived was against us.
Maybe becoming our biggest fan is the answer. Have confidence and conviction. This will attract a support system. There are no fair-weather fans by becoming your biggest fan. We must first support ourselves. We are our own complete and total support system
This notion leads to a better feeling within ourselves. We will have no enemies. We will have no opposition. We will have no conflict.
This attitude comes with practice. Be grateful for what you have and for what you are about to receive. Keep your thoughts positive. Go for the big picture. Make yourself part of the big picture. The sum is greater than all of its parts. A part is greater than the whole. We are that part.

concentration
Concentration means an uneven, unbroken flow of thought. All knowledge is the result of concentration. Thus the mind becomes a magnet and the desire to know draws the knowledge and makes it ours. Concentration requires the control of the physical, mental, and spiritual being. The subconscious mind may be aroused and brought into action to serve us for any purpose by concentration. The result of continuous concentration results in a patient, persistent, persevering, well-regulated system. Concentration unfastens the prison bars of unbelief, weakness, impotence, and self-belittlement. This allows us to enter into a realization of the joy of overcoming.
Desire is largely subconscious. Subconsciousness arouses the latent faculties of the mind and brings the object of conscious desire within reach. Spiritual Truth is the controlling factor to translate modes of thought into character and consciousness. Desire is the strongest mode of action.
All mental discovery and attainment are the result of desire plus concentration. Desire added to concentration will wrest any secret from Nature. Concentration is the transmutation of thoughts into practical values. It leads to intuitive perceptions and immediate insight and is equivalent to being a great actor forgetting oneself in the portrayal of his character, swaying the audience by the realism of the performance.
In experiencing great emotions that go with great thoughts, the mind is in a state where it appreciates the value of higher things. The spirit of initiative and originality is born. The value of concentration encourages decision of character. The mind becomes efficient and desire is the predominating force. The mind is an engine whose power is undreamed. Thought is an omnipotent power, the ruler and creator of all form and all events occurring in form. Thought enables man to harness all other natural power.
Vibration is the action of thought. There is nothing mysterious concerning the power of thought. If we concentrate on some matter of importance, the intuitive power will set in operation. The mind absorbs the object of its attention. The mind gives it life and being. Help will come in the nature of information which will lead to success.
Strength is determined by mental attitude. Keeping the thought in mind, it will gradually take tangible form. Turn thought within to take hold of the basic principles, the heart, and the spirit of things. When we get to the heart of things, it is comparatively easy to understand and command them. Let thought dwell upon the object.
