simulation experiences

Starting as early as the 1970s, some cognitive psychologists, philosophers, and linguists suggested that—instead of abstract symbols—meaning might really be something much more closely intertwined with our real experiences in the world, with the bodies that we have.

If meaning is based on our experiences in our particular bodies in the particular situations we’ve dragged them through, then meaning could be quite personal. This in turn would make it variable across people and across cultures.

embodied simulation hypothesis discussed in scientificamerican.com article

We use our brains to simulate percepts and actions without actually perceiving or acting.

blog impact

The mobile phone is growing in use as the first point of impact on the Internet for people. The "first screen" so to speak. The challenge of creativity is growing too. Traffic is decreasing just a bit for blog exposure. Blogs need to make the move to mobile.

I am starting to think of my blogs as the "others" for communicating.

universe

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ―Albert Einstein

“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.” ―Nikola Tesla

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ―Nikola Tesla

The mind does not live in the brain but passes through the brain. The Law of Attraction is the phrase, "like attracts like."   The Law of Attraction is the modern name for Metaphysics. Why isn't Metaphysics taught more? Plainly, those certain entities who wanted to maintain control over the masses, didn't want the science of personal power getting out. Governments and religions especially.

If people knew that, they will decide for themselves. People would one day not feel content to contribute to society in small ways. They might wish to create their own!

DO the things in life you feel. Focus on what you have and be grateful. Have a willingness to feel grateful. Use the power of your imagination to create what you want in life. Create castles.

The Law of Attraction is the Universe. I know... not easy to put our thoughts around, but the Universe in energy. Energy that vibrates constantly. Creating always. We simply put our thoughts towards that energy to create what we wish to attract.

Shift your focus. Focus on the solution. Focusing on the solution is taking positive action.

Shifting focus causes positive action.

global vastness

Why Do We Call Everything 'Interesting'?

What scales of judgment are used when considering global vastness?

To deem something "interesting" is to promise to return to it. It's a judgment that doesn't really say anything, beyond forestalling that judgment, like a "sticky note" amid an endless wash of data.
